According to the statistics released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, in November this year the producer price index for Turkish industry in general rose by 1.66% over October and was up 3.6% YoY while an average rise of 6.98% was registered for the latest 12 months.

In November, the PPI for the domestic basic metal industry fell by 0.66% MoM and was down 5.5% compared to November 2011. Meanwhile, the average increase in the latest twelve months was 2%.

On the other hand, during the given month, the PPI for domestic manufacture of metal products, except machinery, fell 0.11% compared to the previous month and was down 3.5% YoY. Meanwhile, in the sector in question an average increase of 4.15% in the PPI index was registered in the latest 12 months.
